By purchasing and accessing a Car Report from Caronaut, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your transaction.
1. Delivery and Digital Access
Upon successful payment, your Car Report will be generated and sent immediately to the email address provided at checkout. As this is a digital product, delivery is considered complete once the email has been dispatched from our system. You are responsible for providing a valid email address and checking your Spam/Junk folders.
2. Nature of the Product
The "Car Report" provided by Caronaut is a general informational guide regarding a specific car model, generation, or engine type. It is not a history check for a specific individual vehicle (VIN check). It does not contain records of accidents, theft, or mileage for any specific car you may be inspecting.
3. Personal License & Copyright
Car Reports are licensed for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, resell, or share the contents of the report, in whole or in part, without prior written permission from Caronaut. All proprietary data, logos, and formatting remain the intellectual property of Caronaut.
4. Accuracy of Data & Third-Party Sources
Our reports are based on aggregated market data, common known faults, and expert analysis regarding the reliability of specific car models.
General Guide Only: This report highlights issues commonly associated with this model. It does not guarantee that any specific vehicle you inspect will or will not have these issues.
No Mechanical Guarantee: Caronaut is not responsible if a specific vehicle you purchase experiences a failure, even if that failure was not mentioned in our report. Every used car is unique and subject to its own maintenance history.
Professional Inspection: This report is a buyer’s aid. It is not a substitute for a professional mechanical inspection or a specific VIN history check.
5. Limitation of Liability
Caronaut is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this report. This includes, but is not limited to, financial loss, vehicle value depreciation, missed opportunities, or purchase decisions made based on the provided information. You assume full responsibility for how you use this data.
6. Refund Policy
All sales are final. However, we may offer a refund at our sole discretion in the following specific cases:
Technical Failure: A technical error prevented the report from being generated or delivered to your email.
Empty Data Error: The report is entirely blank due to a database connection error (Note: This does not apply to reports that simply result in "No records found" for specific categories like accidents or theft). If you believe you qualify for a refund, please contact support within 7 days of purchase.
7. User Conduct
You agree not to use our platform for unlawful purposes, including but not limited to credit card fraud, unauthorized data scraping, or attempting to access reports for vehicles you do not have a legitimate interest in. Caronaut reserves the right to terminate access and pursue legal action against such activities.
8. Modifications
Caronaut reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our service constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
